Basic Skills in Reading and Writing/Habilidades básicas en lectura y escritura (CON)
Adults – Adult learners will build reading, writing, vocabulary, and comprehension skills with real-world nonfiction and fiction passages. Adultos - Los adultos desarrollarán habilidades de lectura, escritura, vocabulario y comprensión con pasajes de no ficción y ficción del mundo real.
Vocabulary/Vocabulario (CON)
Adults – Students will study vocabulary, define words, and use them in discussions. Adultos – Los estudiantes estudiarán vocabulario, definirán palabras y las utilizarán en las discusiones.
Fall Tote Bags (MID)
Older Adults - Come join us as we use stamps to create Fall themed tote bags! No registration required, supplies limited.
Adult Sensory Storytime (AFT)
Ages 18+ - Adults with autism spectrum disorder, sensory integration issues, and other developmental disabilities and their caretakers are invited to our sensory program. Full of stories, crafts, and activities, our program will create a great opportunity to meet friends and engage in the community. No registration.
Dementia Friend Information Session -Presented by Carolina Caring (MTP)
Ages 18+ – Learn more about dementia and discover ways to better recognize and support individuals living with dementia.
