Ages 12-18 – A newsletter by teens, for teens! Do you like coming up with recipes? Reviewing books or movies? Drawing? Interviewing people? Sharing your opinions? Bring whatever skills you have to the library to create a one-of-the-kind newsletter to be displayed within our teen area each month.

Ages 10 and up– Recycle, Reuse, Refresh. Join us this month to create a collage art piece that resembles tile work using old magazines, newspaper, and other collected bits & bobs.

Women’s History Month Keynote Speaker Katherine Reay (MTP)

Teen and Adult – National Bestselling and award-winning author Katherine Reay will discuss her new book, “The Berlin Letters”, and talk about women in history.  Paperback copies will be available for purchase and signing.  This event is sponsored by The Friends of the Mt. Pleasant Library in conjunction with the Eastern Cabarrus Historical Society Museum by a grant from the Grassroots Art Program of the NC Arts Council, a State Agency, and the Cabarrus Arts Council. 

Bottle Lid Bots

Tweens/Teens – Come out and build with us! In honor of National Science and Engineering week, We’ll be designing and creating Bottle Lid Bots. All supplies provided.
