Ages 6-11 – You’ve just discovered a brand new animal – but how will you tell other scientists about your find? We’ll learn about animal classification, practice identifying animal traits, and sort critters into scientific groups, then we’ll imagine a creature of our own.
Ages 6-11 – To celebrate the Summer Olympics, we’re throwing our own competition library-style! Test your skills with a book balance, a drinking straw javelin, and the cotton ball shotput to earn a medal!
Teen (Ages 12 - 17) - Disconnect and enjoy the original role-playing game! Come to the library to slay monsters, cast spells, and snag loot in this introductory and approachable version of Dungeons and Dragons. Registration required. Ages 13+ – Join us to crochet a simple scrunchie out of velvet yarn! All supplies provided; basic crochet skills needed.
Ages Walking-3 Years with caregiver - Stories, songs, finger plays, and more.

All ages - Come and speak to a Community Health Worker about housing/rent, food, employment, transportation, childcare, mental health and more. In partnership with the Cabarrus Health Alliance.
