Ages 6-11 - What if you got tangled in miles of spaghetti? How would you retrieve a baby brother flying away on a rogue balloon? Join us as we imagine silly accidental situations and work through solutions together.
Ages 6-11 – We’ll have a snack and watch a movie based on a popular book series starring animal outlaws. Sponsored by Friends of Kannapolis Library.
Ages 12-18 – Join us to visit with NY Times bestselling author Beth Revis. Her latest works include the young adult science fiction and fantasy titles Blood and Feathers and The Museum of Magic. She is also known for A World Without You and the Across the Universe Trilogy. Virtual option at the Kannapolis Library.
Ages 6-11 - Explore the rainforest and its importance to life on Earth. Along the way, we'll make some crafts, build trees, and go on a safari adventure! The program will repeat every 30 minutes and the final one with start 4pm or until supplies run out.
All Ages - Come and Speak to a Community Health Worker about housing/rent, food, employment, transportation, child care, mental health, and more. Drop in.
Ages 12-18 - Ready to make a disaster-piece? Use a random assortment of supplies to create the worst piece of art that you can, be it a painting, a sculpture, or something else entirely! Worst art wins and the winners will receive a trophy.
Adults. - Do yourself a kindness by relaxing with a craft class. Join us in making a macramé heart wall hanging. Bring along a friend for additional fun! Registration required.
Ages 12-18 – Join us as local yoga instructor, Monica Drake, presents an introductory yoga class for teens that emphasizes mindfulness and body awareness for optimal overall physical and mental health! Registration required.
