Canning 101 Presented by the Cabarrus County Cooperative Extension (KAN)

Ages 18+ – Learn how to make and preserve applesauce in this hands-on workshop. We will walk you through the process of selecting safety-tested recipes, canning supplies and equipment, as well as the step-by-step process of water bath canning. Participants will help in the preparation of apples for applesauce and get hands-on experience with filling jars and canning. No previous home food preservation or canning experience is needed – this workshop is great for beginners and experienced canners alike! No registration-Limited Seating
